Illness is literally taken over my life. Nolan has started wheezing, just like his big brother, so now he has to take inhalation meds, which means having an oxygen mask attached to his face four times a day. Not fun. Orion can't seem to stay in his own bed, so he's taken up temporary residence in our bed. I am all for co-sleeping...for other people. I personally hate it. The second my kids were old enough to sleep alone they did. There are many many reasons I am not a fan of co-sleeping, but the main reason is that when we co-sleep, often only one of us is sleeping. Our little Orion is quite the bed hog, often waking up horizontal, and since both my spouse and I are both sick, Orion sleeping in our bed is not ideal.
The person I feel the worst for is Steven. The day he goes in for his vasectomy (no more little Poiles running around) he gets this cold. So he can add runny nose, fever, and body aches to his list of ailments.
Since our babysitter is sick as well, that means no break for mommy and daddy to rest.
Maybe if I close my eyes, I can wish myself into next week. It couldn't hurt to try.
